2022- 2024 @Aldebaran
As a UI designer, I am responsible for managing and evolving the company’s Design System. We transitioned from an original design system to a Global Design System that standardizes the design across all company products.
A key challenge in this project was ensuring the design system could be applied consistently across various products, such as robot screens, while also being responsive across devices like mobile phones, tablets, and desktops.
Each product presented unique requirements in terms of size, visual elements, typography, and other design aspects.
In this role, I refined and optimized the Design System to support both current and future designs, ensuring scalability and adaptability. Additionally, I took a leadership role in implementing and advocating for the Design System across teams.
To develop the design system, I applied the Atomic Design methodology, creating components, tokens, and variants to ensure scalability, consistency, and flexibility. I leveraged templates and prototyping tools to define interactions and user flows, providing developers with a clear understanding of functionality and design intent.
The guidelines were shaped by Material Design 3, iOS design systems, and other established DS. Additionally, I integrated UI guidelines and UX principles, including Bastien and Scapin's ergonomic rules, to create a robust system that aligns with both design standards and business objectives.
Due to confidentiality, I am unable to publicly share this work.
